Baguio City, Philippines — Nine Degrees North invites OPM and Live at The Cozy Cove fans to
gather under Baguio’s night sky as it presents The Cozy Cove Festival, its first-ever festival
event, happening on February 27 at Cozy Cove, 27 Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City. Anchored on the theme “Stars Within Reach,” the festival brings together OPM fans and casual music enjoyers for a night of live performances designed to feel accessible, thoughtfully curated, and rooted in community.
The Cozy Cove Festival features a carefully selected lineup of some of today’s most beloved OPM acts: David La Sol, Yden, Angela Ken, Hale, Maki, and Cup of Joe. Leading the lineup, chart-topping artists Cup of Joe and Maki continue to make waves in the local music scene with songs that have resonated widely with audiences.
Meanwhile, Hale, a beloved band since the early 2000s, brings a lasting legacy of music that has shaped generations of OPM listeners. In contrast, Angela Ken stands out as a distinct voice in the scene, having built a strong following through deeply personal songwriting. Lastly, completing the lineup, David La Sol and Yden represent a new wave of OPM, with growing bodies of work that reflect fresh perspectives and an evolving sound.
Further underscoring the festival’s spirit, Cup of Joe’s roots in Baguio make the event a meaningful homecoming. As longtime friends of Nine Degrees North, the band’s return to the city highlights the festival’s celebration of both homegrown talent and the wider OPM community.
Curated by Nine Degrees North
Building on the success of its well-loved Live at the Cozy Cove shows, Nine Degrees North—an audio-production and creative team known for producing curated live music experiences—is expanding its scope to welcome a larger audience. In response to long-standing interest from fans, the Cozy Cove Festival creates an opportunity to experience these artists within the signature atmosphere of NDN productions. While larger in scale, the festival remains firmly grounded in the values that define Nine Degrees North: intention, intimacy, and quality sound.
Beyond the music, The Cozy Cove Festival is envisioned as more than an evening concert. Festival activities will take place throughout the day on February 27, featuring a flea market with local merchants and food offerings by official food partner Cozy Cove, the venue that inspired NDN’s flagship show, Live at the Cozy Cove. These daytime activities invite guests to explore the space, support local vendors, and engage with the Nine Degrees North community ahead of the live performances, which will take place in the evening.
Held at Cozy Cove, a venue known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong live music culture, the festival offers a fresh take on experience, prioritizing strong curation, immersive sound, and a shared appreciation for live OPM music from sunset through the night.
At its core, the Cozy Cove Festival reflects Nine Degrees North’s continued commitment to uplifting the local music scene through intentional programming and storytelling. Guided by the theme “Stars Within Reach,” the festival invites audiences to be part of a night where music brings people together and the stars feel closer than ever.
