There was a time when small worlds felt infinite.
We memorized Bahay Kubo in school, after countless quizzes from our parents at home. We saved coins after class to buy paper dolls, clutching them like tiny treasures. Bedrooms, notebooks, and lunch tables became miniature worlds, each object given a personality, a story, a life of its own. Childhood felt soft, and magic came without explanation.
Somewhere along the way, we grew up. The paper dolls disappeared first. The dollhouses followed. What once felt instinctive became something we thought we had outgrown.
Then, almost unexpectedly, something brings it back. Welcome to the Dollhouse Mail Club.
The Girl Who Found Magic in a Pair of Shoes
For Lauriand (lprx art), it all began with a simple assignment for school: Draw a pair of shoes.
As a child, she learned the basics of drawing from her lolo (grandfather), an architect, who showed her techniques and encouraged her to observe and recreate the world around her. “It felt like magic,” she recalls—a spark that never faded. Behind their house stood her lolo’s bahay kubo, a tiny world filled with collections, curiosities, and quiet treasures—a personal kingdom where creativity was celebrated and imagination had no limits.
Years later, her mom stumbled upon the sketches Lauriand had made at thirteen: four girls she had named Sookie, Sabrina, Vanessa, and Janessa. Seeing them again felt like meeting an old friend. Inspired, Lauriand redrew them in her current style, giving them personalities, wardrobes, and even a pet frog named Cheddar.

From childhood sketches to today’s illustrations: Lauriand’s originals reimagined for the Dollhouse Mail Club
“My lolo had his kubo, and now I have my dollhouse,” she says. The Dollhouse Mail Club reflects that philosophy: intentional, whimsical, and unapologetically feminine—a world built from memory, imagination, and love.
[EXCLUSIVE] Hello Mnl Visits The Dollhouse!

As you peel back the pink bubble mailer, the world of Lauriand’s imagination opens before you—soft, playful, and unmistakably hers. Nestled inside, an envelope addressed just to you catches your eye, decorated with dazzle and warm labels, inviting you to step further into this tiny universe.
Opening it reveals the first treasures: four glittered stickers, each a nod to childhood play—tiny shoes, a chic handbag, the dollhouse façade, and the Dollhouse Mail Club label. Alongside them, a cute artist card and carefully written thank-you notes add warmth, while a high-quality sticker sheet offers extra bonding time with Lauriand’s four girls! A limited treat that makes the moment feel even more special.

Turning to the next layer, a guided activity and journal prompt spark your own imagination, inviting you to design your own dollhouse, reflect on your “kubo,” or describe a dream space where you can truly be yourself. Each page nudges you gently into play and reflection.
Finally, a magazine-style letter from Lauriand shares her story, accompanied by a scrapbook page introducing Sookie, Sabrina, Vanessa, and Janessa—the girls who have grown alongside her imagination. Two 5R art prints complete the journey, capturing the girls’ bonding, mid-conversation, alive in the quiet chaos of friendship. Pin them on your wall, slip them into your journal, and let the world linger in your hands.

With every detail—from stickers to prints—care guides your experience. Immersive, whimsical, and nostalgic, the Dollhouse Mail Club is a world meant to be explored slowly, at your own pace, and savored like a secret waiting just for you.
