On the occasion of its twenty years of brilliance, the Architecture Network (ARCHINET) remains true to its heritage with the hosting of the 15th National Architecture Symposium (NAS 2026), with the theme of “Echoing Brilliance,” which will be held on May 2, 2026, at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes O.P. Building of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. Furthermore, it will be welcoming over 600 visionaries, from students to experts from the field. ARCHINET marks twenty years of nurturing intellectual dialogue. Moreover, it upholds acclaimed quality set by past industry luminaries including Kengo Kuma, Ken Yeang, and Riken Yamamoto.

The line-up for this year will include innovative thinkers and well-respected figures, such as Ar. Saul Kim who plays with the idea of “Architectural Anomalies,” and Ar. Fumihiko Sano who combines Sukiya carpentry with contemporary design in creating cultural edits into local spaces. Also joining them are industry giants like Ar. Abelardo M. Tolentino Jr. from Aidea, who made Philippine architecture more sophisticated through BIM expertise, and Ar. Hua Li from Trace Architecture Office (TAO) who embraces a “Context Over Ego” approach.

Advancing Architectural Dialogue Through NAS 2026

The 15th NAS boasts a truly remarkable roster of both foreign and local innovators who contribute unique knowledge to the field. Through their participation at the conference in Manila and sharing innovative methodologies and perspectives, these experts help solidify NAS 2026’s reputation as the leading destination for architectural innovation and career development in the region. In addition, this continued exchange of ideas strengthens its influence across the architectural community.

The Architecture Network (ARCHINET) is a non-profit student organization recognized by the College of Architecture of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. Every year, Archinet plans events to bring outside ideas in. It also networks students and professionals with various avant-garde concepts of architecture and related creative disciplines. The culminating event is the annual National Architecture Symposium, where students and professionals from around the country participate and meet at this remarkable event. Students and professionals gather to gain a novel perspective on the profession. They also engage in meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange across the architectural community.
