Whether we admit it or not, there are days when we just want to slow down, but finding the right time and budget doesn’t always work out. Sometimes our plans end up staying within the comfort of home. Even then, we need to remind ourselves that we deserve a break—something to look forward to on our days off, holidays, or those rare moments when our schedule clears up.
As someone who loves to travel, I’m always searching for places just a short drive from Metro Manila. I look for spots that are easy to reach, offer good views, and give that quiet headspace we all need. Tagaytay has always been one of my reliable choices. In this hillside city, there’s a boutique hotel that feels like a private hideaway, located at 86 Iruhin East and only five minutes from People’s Park and Picnic Grove.
Welcome to Vue Tagaytay Boutique Residences, a place where calm moments meet the ridge’s beautiful scenery. This contemporary, French-inspired boutique hotel gives every guest plenty of space and comfort, showing a genuine passion for thoughtful service and hospitality.
This is my third time visiting, and I still feel that familiar excitement each time I arrive. It’s safe to say this place has become a comfort spot for me—and who knows, it might become one of yours too.
A Grand Entrance That Welcomes You to Vue Tagaytay

Upon entering the hotel grounds, you’ll immediately notice what makes this place stand out. This isn’t your typical hotel where the reception greets you first. At Vue Tagaytay Boutique Residences, you’re welcomed by charm right from the big, iconic gate. Driving through the roundabout feels almost cinematic. Once you arrive, a staff member will meet you and simply ask your name to confirm your room reservation.
Celebrate in Style at Vue Tagaytay’s Event Hall
Before heading to your room, you’ll pass the event hall. It’s spacious enough for debuts, birthdays, weddings, or any celebration you have in mind. This isn’t a plain function hall—it has long tables, chairs, and cozy sofas perfect for photos, especially with natural sunlight pouring in. A few steps from the hall, you can check out the terrace for wide, scenic views. The hall accommodates up to 80 guests, and the staff is open to customizing the venue to fit your preferred theme or setup.

Just past the hall, guests are welcomed by a charming staircase lined with lush plants and an open family area, perfect for quality time. The space features chess and sungka boards, offering fun, relaxing ways to spend time with loved ones.
Cozy Family Areas and Well-Equipped Rooms
The rooms are ideal for families, which aligns perfectly with what Vue Tagaytay Boutique Residences aims to provide. Each room has two queen-sized beds and can comfortably host four adults and two children, with complimentary breakfast for four guests. Standard check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 NN the next day. Each room features air-conditioning, a TV, a ceiling fan, free coffee and tea, towels for four, an electric kettle, a side table, a clothes hanger for your outfits, and lamps that set the mood. There’s also fast, reliable Wi-Fi—I personally had a virtual meeting during our stay with no lag at all.

Moreover, the comfort room is spacious and surprisingly luxurious, with a large mirror, a wide single sink, and separate doors for the toilet and shower. The shower comes with a heater, which is always a plus in Tagaytay’s cool weather.

For breakfast, standard serving starts at 7:00 AM. The staff will call you once your food is ready, or you can request a preferred time for it to be served.
Vue Tagaytay Amenities: Pools, Courts, and More
Beyond the rooms, Vue Tagaytay Boutique Residences has plenty to offer. There are two pools—one for adults and one for kids. The kids’ pool is heated, perfect if adults just want to dip without feeling cold. The pools are open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a morning swim or an evening dip. Just a few steps from the pool, there’s a toilet and bath, and a mini bar where you can grab a drink or snack while lounging. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks to make their time by the pool even more enjoyable.

For those who like to stay active, there’s a covered basketball court spacious enough for a good game. Right beside it, you’ll find a pickleball and badminton area. In addition, the property also has ample parking space, so you don’t have to worry about your car while enjoying your stay.
Whether you’re swimming, playing a game, or simply soaking in the views, these amenities make it easy to relax, unwind, and spend your time however you like at this hillside retreat.
