Dog lovers from all over the country and the world came together for the biggest dog show in Asia—the Philippine Circuit 2025—held from January 9-13, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) organized this world-class event, showcasing its dedication to purebred dogs. Thousands of participants and spectators attended, cementing the Philippines’ reputation as a global hub for top-tier canine competitions.

The 2025 Philippine Circuit concluded with standout victories that showcased the excellence of its competitors. An American Cocker Spaniel earned the title of Grand Champion, while a Borzoi claimed Best in Show, impressing judges with its grace. A Chow Chow was also awarded Best in Show for Philippine-born dogs, highlighting the skill and dedication of local breeders.
History-Making Competitions

This year marked a historic milestone with the first-ever National Grooming Team Competition. This groundbreaking addition celebrated the artistry and precision of dog grooming, adding a new layer of excitement. Alongside this, the All-Breed Championship Dog Shows featured 7,560 entries from 96 breeds. Each day, 1,890 participants showcased their dogs’ poise, agility, and conformation before 17 international judges.
“This year’s addition of the National Grooming Team Competition set a new benchmark for the Philippine Circuit. It not only highlighted the artistry and expertise behind grooming but also elevated the level of competition, showcasing the incredible talent of both local and international participants,” Irene L. Jose, Chief Operating Officer of Uniprom said.
An Unforgettable Showcase of Breeds
Nine show rings accommodated the vast number of entries, ensuring smooth competition flow. Attendees admired the variety of breeds, from regal Golden Retrievers and French Bulldogs to captivating Siberian Huskies and Pomeranians. The event’s scale and vibrancy created a true celebration of canine excellence.
“This event is not just about competition,” Jose said. “It’s about celebrating the bond between humans and their dogs, the dedication of handlers, and the artistry behind grooming and training.”
