Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the leading airline in the Philippines, launched four new domestic routes from Clark International Airport. “Cebu Pacific is committed to supporting efforts to develop Clark as a major tourism and economic center in the Philippines. With this expansion, Clark is now better positioned to serve more domestic and international travelers seeking to explore various destinations in the Philippines. Increasing our network and operations in Clark also allows us to make air travel even more accessible and affordable from this region and help create economic opportunities for local communities,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.

“By providing passengers with a fast and efficient transport system, we are giving passengers more time to enjoy their travels with loved ones. People from North and Central Luzon now have the option to depart and arrive at a world-class Clark International Airport,” said DOTr Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Capt. Jim Sydiongco.

Optimism and Growth at Clark International Airport

The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) and Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp. expressed optimism. They believe this expansion will encourage more travelers to choose Clark as their departure point for future flights.

“The aviation sector in the Philippines is a pivotal component of the country’s transportation network, significantly influencing economic growth, tourism, and regional connectivity. Clark’s robust infrastructure and unparalleled connectivity serve as a strong foundation for Cebu Pacific and others who are seeking to expand operations and looking at growing their businesses,” said CIAC President and CEO Jojit Alcazar.

“This collaboration has opened more destinations to explore, making Clark International Airport a more viable option for passengers seeking convenience and comfort while they travel. The addition of these four routes to CRK is a crucial step forward in connecting even more regional destinations to Clark and the rest of Central and North Luzon,” said Noel Manankil, LIPAD President and CEO.

CEB currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
